The Splash Horoscope has the planets scattered pretty evenly
around the wheel, as if they’ve been “splashed” there. The
effect is to scatter your energies, a little bit here, a little
bit there. Jack-of-all-trades, master of none. Or perhaps a
Renaissance person with wide ranging interests. If you also have a lot of planets in the Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) the effect becomes more pronounced because these signs a scattering effect. If your horoscope has many Fixed Sign placements however (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) you get better balance in your life since these signs are solid and serve as an anchor. With the Cardinal Signs in the majority in your chart (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) you will still scatter, but you will do so with more force. Teddy
Roosevelt’s chart is a
good example of a Splash Horoscope. Only Aries, Virgo, and Libra
are empty. Besides being president, he was also police
commissioner, explorer, environmentalist, author, etc., etc. A more recent example is Monica
Lewinsky. Again the planets are evenly distributed around the wheel.
Monica is still pretty young, but
she’s already had a variety of positions. |
